Kalpana Consulting specialises in joining the dots between the early product or service proposition and ongoing business success.

We pride ourselves on the practical way in which we help clients quantify their current situation, build a case for change, gain leadership buy-in and deliver a fully integrated, successful go-to-market campaign as a result.

We recognise that there are two sides to the b2b marketing coin, particularly if you are marketing a service. On the one side, the marketing is fluid and instant (relatively speaking),  you can change a service, re-launch a service or build a new service with relatively little effort. On the other side of the coin, this immediacy means that you can change too easily - without taking the care and rigour needed to get lasting results. At Kalpana we can help you make, and sustain, market-making change. 

Our core proposition is that we provide clients with the experience and insight to enable  the entire go-to-market cycle.  We know what works in a climate of high pressure continuous account development and ongoing high impact market communication.

We believe that in the b2b world, sales and marketing should be much more closely coupled than they often are. If they are not, then you are missing an opportunity to maximise your return from your investment in both.

Being able to address this is what we believe to be a significant differentiator from other 'agencies' and is based on the experience of our founders and the consultants we employ.

 

Our Founders:

David Andrews

David is an accomplished business development director with 20 years experience of business development, sales & marketing and consulting. He has repeatedly led pipeline-building of high margin business for some of the world's foremost business & technology services firms as well as independent software solution providers. A natural deal maker and barrier breaker, he now combines his sales experience with broad market development skills to help our clients to better position their solutions and win more business. 

Liz Merrick

Liz is an enthusiastic marketing director with a track record in high-return marketing leadership. She has worked throughout the marketing mix from product and industry marketing through media relations to become European Marketing Director for the management consulting business of PricewaterhouseCoopers (now within IBM). A ‘strategic head’ on ‘diplomatic shoulders’, Liz is a refreshingly pragmatic problem-solver, ideal for ambitious organisations looking for sustainable results and a maximised brand.
